Facilities Master
Planning
Our staff has assisted numerous local
government agencies with facilities and financial planning services
including facilities master planning.
A Facilities Master
Plan is a compilation of information, policies, and statistical data
about a school district. This Master Plan is organized to provide a
continuing basis for planning educational facilities that will meet
the changing needs of the surrounding community and offer
alternatives in allocating resources to achieve the Districts goals
and objectives. The purpose of this Master Plan is to develop and
communicate an efficient process to enhance the District's school
facilities to better accommodate and support the District's current
and future educational programs.
Facilities master planning
is an ongoing process that creates an evolving document. A Master
Plan will outline the scope of repairs, modernization, upgrades,
and/or new construction needed to serve the current and future
school facilities needs of the community. The plan will also assess
federal, state, and local funding sources as well as financing
options available to the District and will identify the scope of
projects that may be reasonably accomplished with available
funds.
